On my way to repair some rain gutters in SB
On my way to a rain gutter repair job in Santa Barbara I saw something interesting. A truck load of sea urchins on their way to market. Looks like they were going to Japan based on the markings of the truck. I do a lot of driving when I’m repairing rain gutters or installing patio covers. While spending time on the 101 freeway, I see a lot of interesting things.
Custom cut rain gutter miters repair
I was talking to the client about the possibility of just ripping out the old gutters instead of repairing them, then I suggested miters. A rain gutter miter is where two pieces of gutter come together joining by either a box miter or a strip miter. I told him that with JB, we can meet any angle because we custom cut our miters.
At the work site I could see the rain gutter ringer was in need of repair
I see this often when I’m working in Santa Barbara. A lot of people like to cut corners and not hire a professional and licensed rain gutter installer such as myself. When you cut corners bad things can happen. Don’t penny pinch when it comes to your most valuable asset; your home or business(at JB we service residential and commercial buildings.) Cutting corners was not the only problem with this ringer. It was obvious this rain gutter had not been cleaned for quite some time. Once the gutter is weighted down, over time with debri and dirt … it is bound to fail. Having your rain gutters cleaned is very important, as you can see. You will save money; then I don’t have to come out and replace or repair your gutter system It’s much more cost effective to have them cleaned regularly.
We made a new friend on the job site
I was working on my clients gutter system and spotted a duck and her chicks. She hung out with us all day and was kind of our mascot of the day. I couldn’t get any pictures of the chicks, I was pretty busy repairing the rain gutters.
We finished up and moved on to the next job
After repairing the rain gutters we moved on to give a client a free estimate on some new gutters. That was pretty much our day yesterday working in beautiful Santa Barbara(my home town). Looking forward to being there again soon to do some cleaning and get everyone’s gutters in tip top shape!
